Braves, Rays Leading Championship Series Matchups
The Championship Series matchups have been full of surprises thus far, as the Tampa Bay Rays are winning the Series against the Houston Astros handedly. They are up 3-1 in the 7-game series, as their great pitching staff did not allow more than two runs through the first three games. In Game 1, Blake Snell was terrific, as he allowed just one run through five innings. Although they lost Game 4 last night by the score of 4-3, I predict that they will win the series tonight, and move on to the coveted World Series.
In the NL, the Braves are up 2-1 in their series versus the great Los Angeles Dodgers. Rookie starter Ian Anderson continued his Postseason dominance, as in Game 2, he pitched four scoreless innings. He hasn’t allowed a single run in 15.2 innings pitched this Postseason, with 22 strikeouts to go along with his great dominance.
With the World Series looming and my predictions of the Rays and Braves winning their Championship Series matchups in mind, it proves to be a truly exciting time for Major League Baseball.
